I Pay My Taxes, So Should You Politicians

I just got my W-2, which means it’s time for me to file my taxes again.

It irritates me when I think about where my tax dollars are going — wars, the bankers, the Wall Street, the auto industries, the bureaucracy, wasteful programs, etc. etc. I am paying a lot taxes into this stinking economy hole.

I became more furious when more Obama’s cabinet members or nominations appear to be tax cheaters.

Somebody may argue, "Oh come on, we all make mistakes." To me, they become mistakes when they get caught! How come we don’t hear any of them are overpaying taxes "by mistakes?" I over paid my taxes in the past, by mistake. It surely sounds cheating to me if somebody "forgot" to pay $128,203! That’s a lot money to overlook.

And now, we have got a Secretary of the Treasury who failed to pay almost $15,000 in taxes. I wonder what he might "forget" when he manages the finance of the US of A, handles my tax dollars, and oversees the IRS. Should I be concerned?

Speaking of which, where is IRS‘s audit for these politicians? Too busy on checking on average Americans? Does anyone important in Washington pay taxes?

Here are just a few headlines in the past few days:

Okay, IRS might not have got a chance to look at Bill Richardson‘s tax returns yet, but Federal Grand Juries might be doing it now.

I pay my taxes, so should these politicians.
