After three weeks in Beijing, one week in Japan, my vacation is over and I am back to San Francisco on Sunday. I am still struggling a little bit with the jet lag. The refrigerator is still pretty much empty. I am still looking through more than a thousand pictures taken in Japan. But I am almost back to normal. Well, kind of: after I came back, I have been to movie screenings every night. I missed my bed, my home, my kitchen, my friends, and my San Francisco. This is a city that thrives, especially during this election time. Right after I got back, I saw this window display in my neighborhood. But of course, I miss China and Japan already.
