Swimmers in Drag?

Finally, my neck and head are not as burning as yesterday. It’s not due to the Olympics fever, but because I got a sun burn—Either I didn’t put enough sunscreen or I missed a few spots.

On Sunday, SBQA organized a hiking event crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. Since Peter and I were planning for a hike in Marin Headlands anyway, we joined them, and tagged Hide (ひで) with us.

It’s a bright sunny day on the beach, a little fog and windy on the bridge and in Marine Headlands. We were like true tourists, taking pictures, enjoying the scenery, and the newly installed artwork of globes along the beach.

After we walk across the bridge, we parted the rest of the group because we wanted to continue to hike on the top of the mountains. It’s much windier on the top, and the bridge keeps vanishing, like in a dream.

It’s also very cold. That’s why I feel so funny and weird when I see this girl in her bikini running around. She looks like she has mistaken the top of the mountain as a beach in Los Angeles.

Next weekend, I will go back there, with a lot sunscreen.

I have been watching a lot Olympics coverage on TV lately instead of watching films. Although NBC’s coverage is far below my expectation, but at least I get to see the game, especially when I cannot get a good connection to watch it online.

When I was watching swimming, I feel that men in drag must be really trendy these days—I see so many male swimmers wearing "woman’s swimming suit" in competitions, and they are breaking so many world records.

Time indeed has changed.

I can’t wait to watch my favorite event: men’s diving and I hope they are not wearing woman’s swimming suit.
