Rising Gas Price

I couldn’t stop laughing when I read this report "Police: Calif. arsonist was protesting gas prices."

"Police say they later found 64-year-old Diane Craig at a nearby fast food restaurant with eight fireplace logs with her. Authorities say she told officers that she was behind the fires and that she woke up that morning wanting to do something about high gas prices."

The "something" she did was to set fire at two gas stations and one Startbucks.

Doesn’t make any sense? Well, apparently there are so many things nowadays that are just as absurd as this woman’s mental status.

Just last week, NASA blasted Space Shuttle Discovery into the space to deliver a toilet pump and $1 billion Japanese lab. Also recently, NASA sent something to Mars to figure out if life might be able to exist on that planet.

Guess what? There are many lives on this planet called Earth already. Some of the lives are called human beings. And many of them are starving and sick. Some of them, such as George W. Bush, are engaging in war and killing lives.

I wonder why billions dollars of tax payer’s money are shoot into the sky.

Oh, by the way, the government is totally broke as well, and the money NASA has been spending is borrowed from other countries, like China.

Now back to the gas price that set that lady on fire.

I don’t know if I am the only one who is quite happy about the rising gas price. I think it’s still not high enough. Americans has been messing up this planet by using 23% of the total energy consumed with only 5% of the world population.

Why? Because the gas price has been cheap to accommodate many Americans’ selfishness and arrogance—driving a SUV circling in a parking lot to find a spot closer to the door; or idling at a fast food drive-through-window because they might lost some fat if they walk into the door instead.

Gas price, please keep rising higher! That might actually save the US of A, because God, if there were one, has not been blessing it lately.
